Jarðvakt
A clearer view of Iceland’s moving ground.
An independent monitoring and learning project that brings Icelandic earthquake and volcanic data into one accessible interface. A practical connection between curiosity, information design and building with AI.

One observation. More than one way to see it.
The map, event list and activity summaries bring different views of the same earthquake observations together. Place, timing, magnitude and depth can be read in context.

Curiosity becomes a working tool.
Jarðvakt extends into tremor, deformation, volcanic information and learning material, with Icelandic and English views. It connects my design practice with building practical products using AI.
Independent design and build by Björgvin Guðjónsson / Snilld. Uses official and open data sources. Portfolio images were captured in September 2026; visit the application for current observations.
